For those of you who loved our tangerine butter you can now make your own.

Tangerine Essential Oil

Extraction Method: Cold Processed
Plant Part: Peel
Country of Origin: USA
INCI Name: Citrus Reticulata

Benefits: anti-fungal, antiseptic, calming, antispasmodic, circulant, anti-bacterial

Tangerine essential oil is a bright, fruity, crisp, sweet citrus essential oil. This oil uplifts the spirits and makes you want to run to the store for a bag of tangerines!

Tangerine butter was a hydrogenated butter base with tangerine essential oil added. Now you can just use any of our other hydrogenated butters (aloealmondolive, or vanilla although this one will have the vanilla smell) and then add tangerine essential oil. This will make the same texture in your product and then you can add as much tangerine as you would like!

Tangerine essential oil has a high level of natural anti-fungal and antiseptic properties. This would make an excellent addition to anti-acne skincare products. Try creating a blemish treatment made of hazelnut oil (natural astringent), shea buttercastor oiltangerine and tea tree

The calming and uplifting effects of tangerine essential oil can be seen immediately. You can use tangerine as a stand-alone essential oil in your diffuser, or you can blend it with oils such as cedarlavenderrosemarylemonlime and orange

Tangerine essential oil can be used to help stimulate blood flood and move cellulite when used in a body/massage oil. Try a blend of coconut oilgrape seed oil and sweet almond oil, with an essential oil blend of tangerineeucalyptus and peppermint.

Tangerine, and most citrus essential oils, make excellent cleaning blends. Try creating a blend of our organic witch hazel with a small amount of liquid soap, and a brightening essential oil blend of tangerinelimespearmint and clove for a counter/sink/bathroom spray.

Do not apply directly to skin. Most essential oils are not designed to be applied directly, rather they are designed to be mixed with a carrier oil such as our organic sunflower or organic jojoba oils.  Always perform a small patch test when applying to skin.

Do not take internally unless you are licensed to apply them as such.
