Olive butter is a creamy base with high levels of olive oil. Olive has a high natural anti-oxidant profile and a high amount of fatty acids, both of which are excellent for skin care and body care products.
Olive Butter is a manufactured base butter meant to give creaminess, hydration and stability to soap and body care products. Olive Butter is not a naturally occurring single ingredient product like Olive Oil. The only way to make an “olive butter” is to blend olive oil with something harder. In this case this butter is made with a hydrogenated butter base, which gives a temp stable, pre-blended butter. Our olive butter is a pre-blended base to be added to soap bars, shampoo bars, skin care creams and body creams to boost emolliency and help fight free-radicals.
Olive butter is sold in 1 pound biodegradable bags, 5-pound buckets, 25-pound bags, and 55-pound buckets. Please email us directly for orders of more than 5 5-gallon buckets.
Short Term Storage: Air tight container. Dark location. Cool room temperature.
Long Term Storage: Removing air from storage container will delay oxidation and rancidity (may need to place in a smaller container). Refrigeration can extend shelf life.
