Niaouli essential oil is an uplifting, refreshing oil that helps deep cleanse pores, reduce depression, fight acne, and as a stimulant. This one just smells good, aside from being powerful when used in skincare.
Niaouli essential oil can be used to help boost the immune system, clear sinuses, and purify the air when used in aromatherapy type products. Niaouli has a large component of eucalyptol, which makes it cleansing and refreshing. You can use this in diffusers to help respiratory, or you can add it to cleansers and salves designed to help reduce respiratory issues and clear sinuses.
Niaouli is also exceptional at cleansing and stimulating the skin. The same eucalyptol properties help to reduce skin bacteria and help to increase blood flow. When used topically, niaouli is said to help increase firmness, boost natural collagen production, and help repair damaged skin.
If you’re creating an acne line, or looking to make cleansers with deep cleansing properties, Niaouli is an oil you should look to incorporate. Niaouli is very balancing and can help to deep cleanse pores. You can add this to both an oil cleanser or to a foaming cleanser. If you are creating a facial cleanser, be sure to stay to 1-2% max on your overall scent load as the product will be near the eyes.
Niaouli is in the tea tree family but smells much sweeter.
Niaouli blends well with bergamot, lavender, lemon, eucalyptus, juniper, cypress, tea tree, cajeput, Ravensara, sweet orange, pine, peppermint, rosemary
