Black pepper essential oil has skyrocketed in the market because of its use with turmeric. Black pepper essential oil has a spicy, warm, rich smell that can make a lot of blends pop! Black pepper essential oil should be used as part of your essential oil blend, never applied directly to the skin on its own.
Black pepper essential oil works to help increase circulation, thereby increasing the effects of topical pain relief gels/creams/sprays, and it helps to boost the anti-inflammatory benefits of turmeric. Try incorporating a small amount of black pepper in your formulas created to help combat the effects of arthritis pain, swelling, inflammation, joint discomfort, foot pain, varicose veins, and more. Try adding a small amount of black pepper and turmeric essential oils to your CBD salves, or your muscle rubs. A great, spicy, early scent blend for pain relief/muscle rub would be menthol, lavender, rosemary, cajeput, cedar, and black pepper.
Black pepper essential oil also makes for a great addition to a surface cleaner for your home! We carry some great natural powder based surfactants, such as SCI and SLSA, along with Sodium Bicarbonate. You can blend these to make a surface scrub, then follow with a surface cleansing spray of Isopropyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 80 and an essential oil blend of lemon, orange, rosemary and black pepper. Your counters will be clean and your house will smell fresh.
Black pepper essential oil is widely used as a booster for turmeric essential oils and turmeric powder. Turmeric essential oil is an excellent anti-inflammatory. Turmeric can be used in skincare formulations, such as face serum, blemish creams, brightening masks and body washes. When you use turmeric you will need to add a small amount of black pepper to the base to help maximize the effectiveness of turmeric essential oil.
Black pepper essential oil blends well with bergamot, clary sage, clove, frankincense, geranium rose, ginger, pink grapefruit, lavender, juniper, lime, tangerine, orange, sandalwood, Dalmatian sage, sweet basil, or ylang.
