Our sweet orange essential oil is a 10x version, which means it has a very strong, bright, clear scent of sweet oranges. Sweet orange essential oil is a sweeter version of orange than bergamot essential oil. Adding sweet orange essential oil to any product will deliver that beautiful, sunshiny smell of oranges.
Orange essential oil, like its counterparts of lime, lemon and lemongrass, makes an excellent cleanser. Be it a body wash made from our shower gel base, or a hand crafted soap bar from our melt-and-pour soaps, to a facial cleansing oil (try something like our organic golden jojoba blended with organic tamanu, organic sea buckthorn and organic pomegranate), the addition of sweet orange essential oil will make it smell great and it will boost the natural cleansing properties.
Sweet orange essential oil has been said to help reduce inflammation. Try using sweet orange essential oil in a natural salve or ointment to help visibly reduce the redness and swelling. Or maybe create a tonic bath blend of pink Himalayan sea salt, dead sea salt, and a blend of sweet orange and frankincense essential oil.
Sweet orange essential oil has also been considered a scent that can help to calm the nerves while still leaving you alert. Try creating a diffuser blend of sweet orange essential oil, spearmint, ylang and rosemary to make an uplifting blend that will help to relieve stress and make the air smell great.
5 and 10 pound sizes are shipped in BPA free, high density polyethylene containers that are designed for long-term storage of essential oils.
Do not apply directly to skin. Most essential oils are not designed to be applied directly, rather they are designed to be mixed with a carrier oil such as our organic sunflower or organic jojoba oils. Always perform a small patch test when applying to skin.
Do not take internally unless you are licensed to apply them as such.
