Wakame Bioferment Advanced is created using the cultured cells of the wakame plant. The biggest benefit of incorporation Wakame Bioferment Advanced into your skincare formulations is the intense detoxification it promotes. Our skin gets bogged down by all the environmental pollutants. We are also constantly inundating our skin with products and chemicals. Wakame Bioferment Advanced works on the mitochondria of each cell, expunging and detoxifying each cell.
Wakame Bioferment Advanced also targets the production of ROS Reactive Oxygen Species in our cells. By targeting these, it minimizes the effects of aging and promotes cellular longevity. This also allows each cell to more effectively take in and efficiently use oxygen. This makes healthier cells, and more effective cells.
Traditionally live cell derivatives are produced by exposing cells to an environmental stress, such as UV irradiation. As referenced in the original patents by George Sperti, we have refined this method by also supplementing the growth media used to culture the wakame cells. We extract the cells from Undaria pinnatifida and grow them in media supplemented with Lactobacillus, which causes the stress that allows for prime production of secondary metabolites. These adaptations have allowed us to produce a unique cell derivative that is capable of optimizing electron transport to reduce mitochondrial leakage. This leakage results in the release of damaging free radicals and ROS that ultimately contribute to mitochondrial damage and aging.
