Coffee butter…doesn’t that sound like something you would add to your morning beverage? Our coffee butter is a rich blend of natural butters and coffee extract. Add this butter to any body scrub, foot scrub, body cream, anti-cellulite cream, facial mask and so much more. The butter base gives you a natural moisturizer, and the coffee seed oil is a delivery system for both the anti-oxidants and the stimulating properties of coffee.
Coffee, we know, has gone through the rounds of good for you, then bad for you. I think we have finally decided that moderate consumption of coffee is a benefit to your body. This is because of the high levels of anti-oxidants found in coffee. Coffee seed oil is rich in those same anti-oxidants, with a much smaller amount of stimulants than a cup of joe.
Anti-oxidants are free radical fighters. These help us when taken internally and when applied topically. Free radicals are what age us- they age our organs the same as they age our skin. The regular consumption and use of anti-oxidant rich products will help to slow the signs of aging and can help heal our skin. Coffee seed oil is an excellent source of anti-oxidants. Consider adding our coffee seed butter to your anti-aging skin care line.
The other great benefit of coffee seed oil is the stimulating properties. Stimulants help to boost circulation. Increased circulation brings more blood to the surface, which helps to heal. It also helps to flush out toxins and fat deposits, so adding coffee butter to your anti-cellulite or massage products will help boost the circulation. Think about creating an anti-cellulite body scrub with coffee butter, hazelnut oil (natural astringent so this will help tighten the skin), PNW Sea Salt (physical exfoliant and toxin eliminator), and some pink grapefruit essential oil. Maybe to do a blend of pink grapefruit and cornmint essential oil.
Looking to create a stimulating coffee lip line? Lip scrub and lip balm? Yes, we can help with that! Use our Lip Balm Base blended with Coffee Butter (start at 5% and see if that gives you the texture you’re looking for). Then add in some Peppermint Flavor and Espresso Flavor!! Yummmmm. For your Lip Scrub, use Coffee Butter, Green Coffee Bean Oil, Organic Broccoli Seed Oil, and Ethyhexyl Palmitate, with Pink Himalayan Fine Sea Salt and White Jojoba Beads. You can use flavors, essential oils or a combination of the two as the scent/flavor.
Hydrogenated butters make a great addition to whipped body butters as they maintain their consistency, giving stability to your other butters. You could blend Coffee Butter, Organic Mango Butter, Organic Shea Butter and Green Coffee Oil together to create a super hydrating, whipped butter. We sell both Coffee Absolute Essential Oil and Coffee Beans Fragrance if you want to boost the coffee aroma. Take this same whipped butter and add in Green Coffee Bean Exfoliant and now you have a hydrating body scrub!
