Potassium Hydroxide is used to turn oils into liquid soap. Our caustic soda is in flake form and is very easy to use. If you are trying to create bar soaps you will need to purchase Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda/Lye).

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
- Store in cool, dry place, well-ventilated area.
- Keep away from incompatible material.
- Wear chemical safety goggles, gloves and protective clothing.
- Wash your hands after handling it.
FIRST AID
Eye or skin contact- Flush with lukewarm, gently running water, holding the eyelid(s) open and take the person to hospital.
Ingestion- Administer large quantities of water followed by milk and take the person to hospital.
Inhalation – Remove person affected to fresh air and take the person to hospital.
