This butter is going to steal your heart the second you smell it. One of the most delicious smelling butters ever, Ucuuba Butter is exotic and rich, ideal for your skincare and haircare formulas. Ucuuba Butter is a semi-hard butter, amber to brown in color, almost like a resin-type feel, but when added to your products it delivers an incredibly soft, moisturizing, and soothing finished product.
Ucuuba Butter has naturally high levels of myristic acid, making it a key ingredient for hydration of the skin. This applies to soap bars, too. Use Ucuuba butter in your formulas the same way you would shea butter. The incorporation of Ucuuba will make your finished bar harder, but softer on the skin.
The high emollient properties and high anti-inflammatory properties make it excellent for use in skincare products targeting aging skin. Ucuuba helps to increase firmness, boost natural collagen production making skin more elastic and firm-looking, and helps to reduce fine line and wrinkles. Hydrated skin is healthier skin, so add this into your next face or eye cream!
One great benefit of Ucuuba butter over other traditional butters is its fast absorption rate and non-greasy feel on this skin. This means you can create products with high levels of Ucuuba and not have your clients complaining that it is too oily.
Ucuuba butter, when used in skin or hair formulations, not only helps to increase moisture but also helps to create a protective barrier, preventing environmental factors from affecting hydration levels. You can incorporate Ucuuba into face creams and lotions, eye creams, lip balms and glosses, hair care treatments, hair masks, conditioners and more.
In hair care applications, Ucuuba Butter helps to prevent split-ends, sealing the hair shaft with moisture. Highly beneficial for dry, damaged, brittle hair. Include this in your conditioner bars, liquid conditioners and after-shower hair treatments. You could make a Hand and Hair Balm using Ucuuba Butter, Moringa Oil, Organic Sacha Inchi Oil, Organic Argan Oil and Organic Broccoli Seed Oil. Add in some fabulous smelling fragrance (like the Apricot Nectar Rosewater) or essential oil blend, and you’d have a product you customer can slather on their face, hands, neck and hair!
Is Ucuuba Butter Sustainable?

How to use Ucuuba Butter in your formulations
Ucuuba butter has a low melting point so you should add this at the very end of your heating phase. This will melt quickly and be readily blended very fast.
Add into the oil phase of o/w emulsions.
You can add Ucuuba butter directly to finished product, so say you use something like our Shea Cream Body Butter Base and want to add this in, you can add it without heating up the other base. Same applies to our Premium Conditioner Base.
Ucuuba Butter is sold in 1-pound bio-degradable bags, 5-pound #4 recyclable bags, 25-pound recyclable bags/boxes, and 55lb buckets. Please email us directly for15+ size orders.
