 Allergen Certification - Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1545 of 26 July 2023 amending Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards labelling of fragrance allergens in cosmetic products. This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is not a fragrance as defined in “Commission Regulation (EU) No. 2023/1545 as of July 26, 2023.” Therefore, the product has neither been tested for, nor is it considered a potential source of the 82 Fragrance Allergens cited in “Annex III” of the regulation. Allergen (Food) Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is free from and does not encounter known food allergens. Animal Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is 100% Animal Free. Neither the raw materials used, nor any processing materials are of animal origin. No animal derived, sourced or byproduct materials were used in the production process for this product. BSE Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain any elements or materials from bovine or bovine brain tissue, nerve tissue, internal organs, placenta or blood products (including extracts). This product is manufactured in accordance with processing conditions required by European regulation and neither source nor processing materials include bovine or bovine brain tissue, nerve tissue, internal organs and placenta or blood products (including extracts). Cites Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain any materials listed on CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora). Clean Beauty Standards - This is to certify that the above-named material(s) do not include ingredients or processing aids that are either included in, or in violation of the following Clean Beauty standards – Target Clean Beauty, Clean at Sephora, and ULTA Beauty “Made Without List” – as identified online February 1, 2024. California Proposition 65 - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is free from (i.e. concentration below 1 ppm) any of the ingredients or impurities listed in the California Prop 65 legislation. Certification of Origin – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is currently sourced from Germany. We are unaware of any regional or international restrictions concerning the production or usage of this product. Continuing Guarantee-Seller (Shay & Company LLC), guarantees that no article comprising any shipment or other delivery hereafter made by Seller to or on the order of Buyer, is, as of the date of such shipment or delivery, adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and all revisions and amendments pertaining thereto (including its Food Additive Amendment of 1958) or within the meaning of any State Food and Drug Law, the adulteration and misbranding provisions of which are identical with or substantially the same as those found in the Federal Act, or is an article which may not, under the provisions of Section 404 or 505 of the Act, be introduced into interstate commerce: provided, however, that the Seller does not guarantee against such goods becoming adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of said Act or Acts after shipment, by reason of causes beyond Seller's control; and provided, also, that where goods are shipped under Buyer's labels, Seller's responsibility for misbranding shall be limited to that resulting from the failure of the product to conform to the label furnished by the Buyer. Cosmetic Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is considered safe for Personal Care and Cosmetic use. COSMOS Certification – This is to certify that the above-named NOP certified product is approved for use in COSMOS formulas. NOP certified ingredients can be included in COSMOS products. Additional COSMOS certifications are not required. Cruelty Free Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is Cruelty Free. Food Grade- Not all personal care ingredients are designed to be used internally. It is the buyer’s obligation to determine internal safety of each ingredient. All ingredients supplied by Shay & Company LLC are of food quality and we hereby certify that to the best of our knowledge the product above is produced under food safe conditions and handled in an FDA registered facility. We are not a food or supplement certified facility so ingredients will not come with nutritional, supplemental or food testing or certifications. Formaldehyde Free Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain formaldehyde or formaldehyde donors. Gluten Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is Gluten Free. Halal Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product is not certified Halal. We declare that to the best of our knowledge the products listed comply with Halal food conditions. The above listed product is produced without animal ingredients or intoxicants. The facility in Oregon handles insect-derived products (Beeswax) products that are considered toxic or harmful to the body (fragrance components in high concentrations; Isopropyl Alcohol). However, care is taken to ensure the products above are handled separately and tools are sanitized to remove any residues from prior usage. The facility maintains a handling environment free from animals, pests, and filth. IFRA / Fragrance Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is not a fragrance and does not fall under the IFRA standards for the globally accepted and recognized risk management system for the safe use of fragrance ingredients. Impurity Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain any impurities such as residual solvents, pesticides, phthalates, dioxanes, glycol ethers, phenols, nonylphenols and alkylphenols. IUCN Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain any materials listed on IUCN (the World Conservation Union Redlist of Threatened Species). Kosher Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product is not certified Kosher. Our production facilities are designed to maintain the integrity of kosher practices. We implement rigorous protocols to prevent cross-contamination with non-kosher products, ensuring that our kosher products are handled and processed in accordance with kosher regulations. Leaping Bunny- All ingredients provided by Shay & Company LLC comply with Leaping Bunny certification. Please submit your request through their website and they will email us a letter of certification. We will submit the letter back to them for your files. Letter of Authorization- Shay & Company LLC is the exclusive distributor of the above product and authorizes its direct customer to reference the product documentation (including Safety Data Sheet, Certificate of Analysis, IFRA Certificate, etc.) supplied by Shay & Company LLC for internal and regulatory purposes. The customer may use the supplied documentation to support regulatory submissions, product information files, or safety assessments. This authorization does not permit disclosure or reproduction of confidential data, nor does it convey ownership of proprietary information. The authorization applies solely to documentation provided by Shay & Company LLC and remains valid until 3 years from the issue date unless otherwise withdrawn in writing. Technical data for the specific lot of product remains valid only until the expiration date of that product as listed on the Certificate of Analysis. All data, formulations, and analytical results remain the confidential property of Shay and Company and may not be distributed or published without written consent. Nano Free Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain Nano Particles. Nitrosamine Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain any nitrosamines or nitrosamine precursors. Non-Animal Testing Certification - This is to certify that neither the above-named product (nor its components) developed or manufactured by Shay & Company LLC have been tested on animals for cosmetic purposes. This declaration will also confirm that, in accordance with Directive 2003/15/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 February 2003, amending Council Directive 76/768/EEC, Shay and Company does not knowingly use products that have been tested on animals. In addition, to the best of our knowledge, no products sold, manufactured, or marketed by Shay and Company have been tested on animals in other industries. Non-GMO Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is not manufactured using cell fusion and recombinant DNA technology (including gene deletion, gene doubling, introducing a foreign gene, and changing the positions of genes when achieved by recombinant DNA technology). Such methods do not include the use of traditional breeding, conjugation, fermentation, hybridization, in-vitro fertilization, or tissue culture. This product was manufactured/produced neither ‘from’ nor ‘by’ GMOs as those terms used in Articles 2 and 9 of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007. NOP Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product is NOP compliant. This organic raw material contains (excluding water and salt) only non-genetically modified, organically produced ingredients. It has been produced and handled according to strict standards, without using GMO materials, toxic and/or persistent chemical inputs. Palm Oil Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain, nor is it derived from Palm Oil. Patent Status – This is to certify that we are unaware of any Patents covering the usage of the above-named product (and/or its components) in relation to any/all Personal Care and Cosmetic applications. Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Free Certification - This is to certify that this product does not contain any PFAS, nor are any PFAS added in the manufacturing of this product. Petrochemical Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain, not is it derived from, Petrochemical materials. Phthalate Free Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain Phthalates. Preservative Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Formaldehyde or Formaldehyde Donors. REACH Status – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) has not been exported to the EU in quantities that require REACH registration. RSPO- Shay & Company LLC is a member of the RSPO Organization. We are committed to supplying only RSPO or MB/RSPO palm derived ingredients. Our RSPO certification number is 9-5702-24-000-00 SDS and Product Specification /or Technical Data Sheet –See C of A/SDS/IFRA Tab for SDS Silica Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is Silica Free. Specifically, it does not contain either Amorphous or Crystalline Silicas. Silicone Free Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain Silicones nor does it use any Silicones as processing aids. Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) Free Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is free from (i.e. concentration below 1 ppm) Substances of Very High Concern as defined in the REACH Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern. Sulfate Free Certification - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain Sulfates in any form, nor does it use any Sulfates as processing aids. Sustainability Status - This is to certify that Shay & Company LLC works to source ingredients that are sustainably grown, harvested, and produced using processes designed to reduce waste. Our facility uses recyclable packaging materials, bio-degradable and recyclable plastic bags, post-consumer recycled boxes, hydrogen power and natural gas. All plastic jugs and buckets are BPA-free and are all plastic, not metal and plastic, to ease recyclability on your end. Synthetic Polymer Microparticles – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is completely (100%) free of synthetic polymer microparticles as defined in “Regulation (EU) 2023/2053 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 September 2023”. Therefore, the amendments to Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 defining Synthetic Polymer Microparticles, including Articles 14 and 15 of this regulation, are inapplicable to this product. Talc Free Certification – This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) is Talc Free. Toxic Free Cosmetics - This is to certify that all Shay & Company LLC supplied ingredients, including the material identified above, do not intentionally include any of the substances prohibited in cosmetic products as identified in the California Toxic Free Cosmetics Act and the European Union’s (EU) Annex II of regulation No. 1223/2009. Volatile Organic Compounds - This is to certify that the above-named product (and/or its components) does not contain any Volatile Organic Compounds.
