Natural Flavors are in high demand in the industry right now, but delivering an actual consistent flavor that can be oil soluble without using chemicals or alcohol is tricky. Most natural flavors are made either using glycerin or MCT oils, adding in a solvent like alcohol, propylene glycol, or triacetin, then the flavor compounds to create the aromatic flavor. We have opted to use MCT oils and either triacetin or ethyl alcohol as we feel they give the best performance with the cleanest possible ingredients. These are used typically in lip balms, so we wanted to make sure when your customers lick their lips they aren’t getting toxic chemicals.
How to Use Natural Flavors- many of these flavors have low flash points compared to fragrances. That is because these are not meant to be used in candles, rather to be used in skincare applications. You will add these into oil based formulas and add them at the very end of your process, right before pouring into your containers. You want the formula to be as cool as possible so you can get the most flavor.
Peppermint-A go to for all things lip, Peppermint is refreshing and bright. You can pair this with our Willamette Valley Peppermint Essential Oil to enhance the result, or just use it on its own. Also blends perfectly with our Vanilla Batter Flavor creating Vanilla Mint.

We have a variety of flavors for your formulating needs:
Cherry-who doesn’t love sweet and tart, fresh cherries! I realized as I was selecting flavor that I have three lip balms on my desk, two of which are cherry and the other watermelon. Love a good, smooth, sweet cherry. This Cherry Flavor does not disappoint!
Chocolate– Yup. Like chocolate syrup, this Chocolate Flavor hits all the olfactory response giving a good dose of dopamine without adding to the waistline. Pair this one with our Cacao Essential oil and you’ll have the most robust Chocolate ever.
Espresso-I do love coffee (maybe too much?) so Espresso Flavor is a fun one. You can use flavors in more than just lip balms. Espresso would be fabulous blended with Vanilla Batter for a Latte Flavor, or mix with Chocolate Flavor, Cassia essential oil, and Sweet Orange essential oil and get Mexican Hot Chocolate. Our all-natural Espresso Flavoring is made with real coffee essential oil, making this a true coffee flavor. Super rich, like the best cup of coffee.
Frosted Cranberry-The thought of cranberry flavor either makes you nostalgic for holidays or it makes you wonder why anyone would want something to taste like cranberry. I personally love cranberry anything pretty much. Those gobbler sandwiches everyone makes after thanksgiving with turkey, cranberry and cream cheese? Yep, I’m down. Cranberry Chutney is my favorite holiday candle scent. Now we have Frosted Cranberry All Natural Flavor! A little bit sweet, a little bit tart, very fresh.
Strawberry-Like fresh strawberry jam, our Strawberry Flavor is true to its name. Makes a lovely lip balm or gloss, and is excellent to add to lip treatments like a scrub or anti-aging cream.  Blend with Vanilla Batter Flavor to create Strawberries and Cream.
Vanilla Batter-Yum yum yum. Like fresh butter cake batter, this vanilla flavor is delicious. This one can literally blend with any other flavor to warm it up and give it that irresistible vanilla base.
Watermelon-Who doesn’t remember sweet watermelon candies when you were a kid? Watermelon Jolly Ranchers were my favorite. This Watermelon Flavor will bring back all those memories.
