Sweet Fennel essential oil is an herbaceous essential oil with a licorice-like aroma. Sweet Fennel can be used in skin care products, hair care, soaps, and aromatherapy benefits.
Sweet Fennel essential oil is naturally high in vitamin c, calcium and iron, all which work to create both healthier skin and healthier hair! Using Fennel essential oil in your shampoos or hair care products (like a scalp spray, smoothing oil, hair growth oil) can help create stronger hair and reduce hair loss.
An excellent blend for a hair smoothing oil is Daikon Seed Extract, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Organic Black Seed Oil, Olive Oil Squalane, Broccoli Seed Oil (a natural silicone replacement) and an essential oil blend of Rosemary and Fennel. Your hair will smell great and you’ll have shinier, stronger, healthier hair! The antiseptic properties also help to cleanse the scalp, promoting hair growth.
These same vitamins and minerals make Fennel essential oil an excellent oil for both anti-acne skincare and anti-aging skincare products. Fennel is a very strong anti-inflammatory, which makes it an excellent ingredient to add to under-eye creams and products designed to help reduce swelling, redness, and sun damage.
Fennel is also a natural astringent, so it is great to incorporate into your anti-acne skincare routine. In addition to helping control sebum production, fennel also helps brighten and tone the skin, leaving smoother more radiant skin.
Fennel is used in aromatherapy products to help reduce stress, boost motivation, and calm nerves. You can use fennel directly in a diffuser, or blend into a spray or salve to be applied topically.
Fennel is also one of the essential oils that has many benefits when consumed. Our Fennel Essential Oil is food grade, however, we are not a food grade facility so we cannot guide you on how to take it internally, nor will it come labeled with the FDA warnings or instructions on how to take it internally.
Fennel Essential Oil blends well with cardamom, ginger, lavender, lemon, geranium, sandalwood, rose, bergamot, black pepper, pine, sweet orange, blood orange, clary sage, pink grapefruit, sweet basil, holy basil.
