Hydrolyzed hemp protein is an excellent emollient and strength builder for both hair and skin. Hydrolyzed hemp protein is made out of USA grown hemp seeds and is a power-packed protein for your formulations. This is a completely sustainable crop!
The first line of defense for our skin is balance. When our epidermis layer is balanced, both by the pH and the moisture content, our skin is healthier and shows less signs of aging. Hydrolyzed Hemp Protein works by balancing the epidermis layer. This allows our skin to heal itself and it allows better absorption of power ingredients, such as vitamin c and retinol. It also boosts our skin’s natural collagen production, creating firmer skin and reducing signs of aging and wrinkles.
When used in skincare formulations, Hydrolyzed Hemp Protein is like a moisture bomb! Super high levels of moisture help to combat dry, flaky skin, without feeling heavy or greasy. The high protein index Hydrolyzed Hemp Protein is an excellent option for acne prone skin, as it balances the pH without leaving that greasy feel. Hydrolyzed Hemp Protein allows for natural synthesis of hyaluronic acid, and creates a healthy lipid barrier.
This same emollient level combined with high protein makes it an excellent addition to hair care products. You can use this in shampoos, conditioners, leave-in hair treatments and scalp treatments. Incorporating Hydrolyzed Hemp Protein into your hair care products will also help to make hair healthier, allowing for longer growth and more volume. Studies have shown increases in hair strength, preventing damage in chemically treated hair when using a product containing 2% Hydrolyzed Hemp Protein for 14 days.
Hydrolyzed Hemp Protein does not contain any THC or CBD. This is made exclusively from the hemp biomass.
Are you adding a facial oil or cream to your product line? Hydrolyzed Hemp Protein helps to boost skin’s natural collagen production, helping to create firmer skin. The moisture imparted by the Hydrolyzed Hemp Protein also helps to make the skin look more vibrant and plump. Try paring this with Olive Oil Squalane for a super moisture level.
