Shay and Company is proud to present a small selection of clean and non-toxic fragrances for soap, candles and skincare. All our fragrances are suitable for natural skincare products, cold process soap making, bath bombs, tarts, body care products, and candle making. We understand the value of having non-toxic fragrance options other than essential oils, so we have worked hard to create a line of high-quality, cleanly-made, natural fragrances for candles, soaps, and other products for our customers.

Note on fragrance names- There is no regulation on fragrance names with the FDA, and fragrance names do not represent any specific ingredient like essential oils do. You can call any fragrance whatever name you want to call it, so get imaginative with your fragrance names!

All our fragrances are designed to be used in soaps, candles, skincare and haircare.

If you live locally and you’ve been to our shop, you’ve undoubtedly met Sage, my Shepsky mix dog. She loves loves loves to be outside, so we take walks every day. Whenever we pass a yard with delicate little miniature roses, I always stop to smell them. Have you noticed that those roses you buy in the store no longer smell like roses? Maybe me missing that smell is what spurred me on to bring in yet another rose fragrance, but this one is a winner. Our traditional rose fragrance is like Red Roses, Wild Rose is like you just stuck your nose in the petals and too a big wiff! Sweet, little fruity, very woodsy. All around a beautiful fragrance, and not the old lady rose!

Top: Green, orange

Designed to be used in soaps, candles, tart wax melts, body care and hair care products.

Blends well with: You can blend this with our Lavender 40/42 EO or Lavandin Essential oil to make a lavender rose. Or blend with Vanilla Non-Discoloring Fragrance for a Vanilla Rose; blend with Jasmine Fragrance; or for a really fun, uplifting rose blend with our Pink Grapefruit Champagne!

California Proposition 65 for products falling below safe harbor levels.
This formula does contain 100% natural essential oils of which may contain toluene (impurity) and myrcene, both of which are on the Prop 65 list. We believe the volume in the end product falls below the safe harbor levels designated by Prop 65 and therefore this product does not have a Prop 65 warning. Please see our letter on Prop 65 warnings.

Less than 51% Naturally Derived– this means that these are a blend of natural and synthetic ingredients, but the natural is less than 51% of the formula. Some scents just cannot be created using natural ingredients. These are still very good ingredients; they just aren’t from nature.

Fragrances are sold in 1-ounce amber glass bottles, 4-ounce amber glass bottles, 8-ounce amber glass bottles, 16-ounce amber glass bottles, 5-pound aluminum bottles, 10-pound HDPE BPA-free jugs, and 25-pound sizes. 25 pound sizes may have a later ship date depending on stock on hand. Do not apply directly to skin. Most fragrance oils are not designed to be applied directly, rather they are designed to be mixed with a carrier oil such as our organic sunflower or organic jojoba oils.  Always perform a small patch test when applying to skin.

Do not take internally unless you are licensed to apply them as such.
