Tetrasodium EDTA can be used in lotions, shampoos, shower gels, hand soap and more. It is used to increase product stability and effectiveness by binding the metal ions and water. This helps other ingredients, such as emulsifiers, skin soothing ingredients, and active surfactants, maintain their stability and increase effectiveness.
Tetrasodium EDTA is most effective in products with higher pH levels, such as soaps. To used Tetrasodium EDTA in your soap bars simply blend into the fats, then proceed as usual.
