What ways can you incorporate Organic Matcha Tea into your product line?
Facial Masks- wet or dry, organic matcha tea will add more than just a beautiful color, this ingredient will also boost the antioxidant profile and increase the brightening capabilities of your masks.
Serums- extract this organic matcha into your favorite carrier oil then blend that into a powerful serum.
Soap making- brown soap! Well, green-ish-brown. Matcha Tea does seem to turn brown in soaps, but it is a radical way to differentiate your facial bar with vitamin c, vitamin e and polyphenols.
Bath Soaks- an excellent ingredient to add to your loose bath soaks, will create a powerful antioxidant tea when added to baths.
Organic Matcha Tea can be used in soap making to add natural color and to add the antioxidant and polyphenol benefits. If you’re creating a soap bar specifically targeting the face, this is an excellent ingredient to include to set your bar apart. Keep in mind that the powder will have a slightly different color with each batch as these are plants and they don’t grow the same time after time.
To use in soap making, you’ll mix matcha tea and kaolin then make a slurry in water. Deduct that water from your water content. You can add your specialty oils, essential oils and fragrances into this slurry. After mixing your oils and lye water, then you’ll add in this slurry close to trace. It will still turn brown, but that is the glory of green.
Organic Matcha Tea is excellent for use in skincare! The naturally occurring antioxidants and polyphenols are ideal for boosting natural collagen production, creating firmer skin. It is also full of naturally occurring vitamin e, which helps soften skin, increases hydration, and helps to repair damaged skin. Plus, the natural vitamin c component helps to brighten the skin.
You can use organic matcha green tea in a facial mask- blend with Kaolin Clay and Bentonite Clay to create a great base, pulling out impurities and balancing oil production. Then follow with a serum rich with vitamin c from Organic Sea Buckthorn, Organic Rosehip Seed Oil and Oil Soluble Vitamin C (THDA) for brightening; add in Organic Black Seed Oil just because it should be in everything. Add in Organic Broccoli Seed Oil for wonderful glide, and then Olive Oil Squalane for extreme hydration. Balance out with Organic Camellia Oil and Organic Jojoba Seed Oil as the carriers.
If you want to make a matcha oil, you can do a heated or cold pressed extraction of the organic matcha tea powder into your favorite carrier oil. There are many ways to do this, some faster than others, all which will create a fantastic, rich, green tinted oil perfectly enhanced with the plant powers of Organic Matcha Tea.
