Lauryl Laurate is used in emulsified products to help increase formula stability, improve function of active ingredients on skin, and leave a soft and silky skin-feel finish without feeling heavy or greasy. Lauryl Laurate is made of lauryl alcohol and lauric acid, both of which are 100% RSPO palm oil derived.
When creating creams and lotions that have high levels of actives, you want to ensure the product will not only feel good upon application but will also have high effectiveness in delivering those active ingredients. Including functional ingredients such as lauryl laurate, stearyl palmitate and ethylhexyl palmitate into your formulas accomplishes both goals.
