Honey Quat is a honey derivative designed to impart increased hydration and moisturization onto skin and hair. This product can be used on any leave-on or wash-off product designed for retained moisture and soothing benefits.
Honey is one of nature’s super foods. Honey can be used to heal wounds, repair skin, strengthen hair, as an immune booster when taken internally, a natural sweetener, a whole food and so much more. When applied topically honey also seals in moisture in the skin and hair allowing it to stay hydrated and heal.
Honey Quat (also called Quaternized Honey) is derived from honey and utilizes those moisture retention and healing capabilities. Honey Quat is said to have higher moisture retention levels than glycerin.
Honey Quat is REACH Compliant and free of the following:

This is to certify that the honey used to manufacture AC Quaternized Honey SA (20702SALNZ) is Fair Trade Certified® when available.
The honey used to manufacture this product is sourced sustainably from honeybees. The hives are well tended and maintained without the use of antibiotics, pesticides or fungicides to maintain healthy bee populations and honey supply. Additionally, 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) can be present in honey when exposed to certain conditions during manufacture and storage (i.e. heat and acidic environments). While we have not tested Honeyquat for HMF at this time, we expect there may be traceable levels present based on the starting material used to manufacture it.
Quaternized Honey does not contain any ingredients on the California Prop 65 list.
