Coconut Milk Powder is the secret ingredient to your bath bombs and powders to leave that creamy, soft feel on your skin. Coconut Milk Powder can be used in bath bombs, bath powders, masks, soap bars, shampoo bars, and skincare products.
You may be asking why our coconut milk powder has maltodextrin and modified corn starch listed in the ingredient deck. Every coconut milk you purchase will have all of these ingredients in them, but not everyone discloses the full INCI because they are in very small amounts. I believe in full transparency so we list all of the ingredients used in each product. Neither of these are harmful, they are just meant to keep the coconut milk from clumping due to moisture in the air.
Maltodextrin is a type of carbohydrate, but it undergoes intense processing. It comes in the form of a white powder from rice, corn, wheat, or potato starch. Its makers first cook it, then add acids or enzymes to break it down some more. The final product is a water-soluble white powder with a neutral taste.
Modified food starch is made by physically, enzymatically, or chemically altering starch to change its inherent properties.
Coconut Milk Powder is one of those ingredients that could be used in just about anything! Coconut Milk Powder leaves the skin soft; it helps to pull oil out of the skin; the high content of vitamin C and E helps to combat signs of aging and can help boost skin’s elasticity. This means you want it in everything!
Coconut Milk Powder is often used in bath bombs. You can use it in place of or in addition to cream of tartar or arrowroot powder. This will help serve as a binder and skin conditioning agent.
Same benefit when you use it in your loose bath soaks. The skin will feel very soft and smooth after. When making loose bath soaks, make sure to add in the Magnesium Bath Flakes for boosted magnesium absorption. You want to reap the biggest benefit out of that bath time!
Coconut Milk Powder can also be included in your soap and shampoo bars instead of Goat’s Milk Powder. If you’re looking to stay vegan, this is a great option. The bars will have that creamy, white color, and be soft on the skin and hair.
Making face masks or scrubs? Yep, add in some Coconut Milk Powder. This will help pull out oil, balance sebum, and soften the skin. Plus, the added benefit of vitamin c and e for anti-aging and anti-oxidant properties.
Coconut Milk Powder is sold in 1-pound biodegradable bags, 5-pound biodegradable bags, and 33-pound sizes. Any orders larger than 495-pounds please email us for pricing.
Kosher certification follows the 33-pound bag.
