Brandied Pear 62% Natural Fragrance
Shay and Company is proud to present a small selection of clean and non-toxic fragrances for soap, candles and skincare. All our fragrances are suitable for natural skincare products, cold process soap making, bath bombs, tarts, body care products, and candle making. We understand the value of having non-toxic fragrance options other than essential oils, so we have worked hard to create a line of high-quality, cleanly-made, natural fragrances for candles, soaps, and other products for our customers.
Please see our Ethical Fragrance Page for more information about our clean beauty fragrance standards.
Note on fragrance names- There is no regulation on fragrance names with the FDA, and fragrance names do not represent any specific ingredient like essential oils do. You can call any fragrance whatever name you want to call it, so get imaginative with your fragrance names!
We have Brandy Fragrance and we have Pear Fragrance but this one, Brandied Pear, is the most delicious blending of these two. This is like Pear with that lovely, warm alcohol base. Rich and fruity with the sugary notes of brandy.
All our fragrances are designed to be used in soaps, candles, skincare and haircare.
Soap maker notes: works perfectly, mild discoloration
Blends well with: So, the most obvious is Pear Fragrance to bring up the fruit profile; then the second is Brandy to increase the alcohol and decrease the fruit. Other fabulous options would be Bourbon Vanilla to make a Candied Pear; try Ginger Peach to make a Southern Ginger Pear; blend with Mulled Cider to create a Pear Cider; or Baked Apple to create a Pear Apple Crisp.
