We have finally found a great aloe source, so we are back to making our own in-house extracted Aloe in Organic Sunflower Oil! Whoo hoo!! This oil is a great source of aloe, and no longer contains soy.
I think just about everyone has heard of the benefits of aloe. Aloe is used across the world as both a pure plant extract and as a healing component and moisture delivery system for everything from lotions and creams, to facial serums, anti-aging products, body washes, scrubs, and more. Aloe Vera leaf is the most commonly used Aloe in US products, but Aloe Ferox is a stronger, more pure aloe powder. When aloe ferox is harvested, the Aloin (the active material) is located just under the leaf, so it is easily separated from and never has to be chemically processed. The aloin in aloe vera is enmeshed throughout the gel so it does require a chemical process to extract it. This makes the Aloin from Aloe Ferox cleaner.
Aloe oil is a beautiful delivery system for aloe vera in your oil soluble formulas. Aloe vera gel can be tricky to add to butters or oil-based products. In order to simplify the process of adding aloe to your lotions, soap bars or body scrubs, we have created a carrier oil with a high concentration of aloe. This way your oil-based formulas can utilize aloe vera without having the addition of water, preservatives and emulsifiers.
Our Aloe Oil is made with Organic Sunflower Oil but the finished product is certified organic. Therefore it is labeled as “Made with Organics”. Both the Aloe and the Organic Sunflower are non-GMO and Kosher.
Aloe Oil is sold in 4-ounce amber glass bottle, 8-ounce amber glass bottle, 16-ounce amber glass bottle, BPA-free ½ gallon plastic jug, BPA-free 1- gallon plastic jug, BPA-free 5-gallon (40 pounds), and 55-gallon drums (metal or BPA-free plastic). Please email us directly for 5-gallon+ orders.
