Hazelnut oil is a fantastic oil for any skin care formulation, and especially those meant for oily or sensitive skin. When using hazelnut oil for skin, it works both as an astringent and as an emollient. This means that it is works to reduce acne and oily skin, along with imparting hydration without leaving the skin feeling heavy or greasy.
Hazelnut oil is so good for the skin and hair because of its very high oleic acid content. Oleic acid is beneficial to the skin because it locks in moisture, making it a protective ingredient in facial care, shampoos and conditioners.
Oleic acid is also great as a cleanser because of its density. Hazelnut Oil is a good option for facial cleansing oils and creams, as the oleic acid helps to break up sebum and deposit beneficial moisture to the skin. Other oils high in oleic acid are Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Jojoba Oil and Organic Moringa Oil. You could blend these together with some Olive Oil Squalane, dl-Panthenol and an awesome scent blend and a powerful moisturizer for hair or skin.
Hazelnut Oil is sold in 4-ounce amber glass bottles, 8-ounce amber glass bottles, 16-ounce amber glass bottles, BPA-free half-gallon jugs, BPA-free 1- gallon jugs, BPA-free 5-gallon buckets and 55-gallon sizes. Please email us directly for pallet sized orders.
