Thieves blend has long been used in home remedies and herbal treatments. The delicate blend of cinnamon, clove, rosemary, lemon and eucalyptus has so many wonderful benefits and it smells amazing! Guardian blend is specifically made of the highest grade essential oils, all 100% pure, with no carrier oils or dilutants added. All our essential oils are of the highest possible grade and should be blended with a carrier oil before applying directly to the skin. Guardian blend (Thieves) has traditionally been used in salves, creams, diffusers, aromatherapy blends, and steam treatments. You can use this blend in both soaps and candles. Cinnamon and clove EO’s have both been shown to have antimicrobial properties; eucalyptus has been shown to help improve respiratory issues, such as sinus infections, colds, and allergies; cinnamon and eucalyptus, both, have been shown to help promote wound healing; rosemary has been shown to help boost mood when used in a diffuser or air spray. When you put all these together, the effects can be excellent! Guardian blend (thieves) has a deep history. One belief is that this blend originated in the 15th century for use during the bubonic plague. Individuals would apply the blend to their clothing, bedding and bodies to help ward off the illness. Guardian blend makes an excellent addition to any cleaning product! Try adding 2% Guardian blend to our Foaming Shower Gel base to make a great foaming wash that can be used on surfaces, the body or as a laundry soap. Surface Spray: add up to 10% Guardian blend to a blend of Organic Witch Hazel, water, Foaming Shower Gel base, and Polysorbate 80 to create a surface spray. You will mix the Guardian Blend with the Polysorbate first (even parts), then mix that into you witch hazel/soap/water blend. The polysorbate 80 is a natural emulsifier for water and oil sprays. Room or pillow/bedding spray: blend up to 10% Guardian blend into water or Isopropyl Alcohol, and polysorbate 80 to create a room/pillow/bedding spray. Again, mix the EO with the polysorbate 80 first, then add to your liquid. You can make either this or the surface spray without the polysorbate 80, you will just need to include instructions to shake each time before use. Laundry soap: Guardian Blend makes an excellent addition to your laundry blend, leaving both your clothes and your laundry room smelling fresh and clean! Use up to 8%. Steam treatments: many people suffer from allergies and sinus issues so steam treatments have become a part of self-care routines. Put a few drops of our Guardian blend into steaming water and breath in the benefits. Guardian Blend is sold in 0.5-ounce, 1-ounce, 4-ounce, 8-ounce, 16-ounce, 5-pound and 10-pound sizes. Do not apply directly to skin. Most essential oils are not designed to be applied directly, rather they are designed to be mixed with a carrier oil such as our organic sunflower or organic jojoba oils. Always perform a small patch test when applying to skin. Do not take internally unless you are licensed to apply them as such. This information is for reference only.
