Shay and Company is proud to present a small selection of clean and non-toxic fragrances for soap, candles and skincare. All our fragrances are suitable for natural skincare products, cold process soap making, bath bombs, tarts, body care products, and candle making. We understand the value of having non-toxic fragrance options other than essential oils, so we have worked hard to create a line of high-quality, cleanly-made, natural fragrances for candles, soaps, and other products for our customers.

Note on fragrance names- There is no regulation on fragrance names with the FDA, and fragrance names do not represent any specific ingredient like essential oils do. You can call any fragrance whatever name you want to call it, so get imaginative with your fragrance names!

All our fragrances are designed to be used in soaps, candles, skincare and haircare.

Ultra Green All Natural Fragrance is the ultimate fresh, clean, “green” scent. This one is reminiscent of rainy days after hot sun- that just freshly washed Earth smell. Herbal with sweetness, soft and rich. Maybe even a touch of sweet champagne at the end. Ultra Green Fragrance would be lovely in a nail serum and/or hand cream. The scent is deep and rich, giving a lasting aroma that isn’t overwhelming, but lingers just enough. Would also make the most luxurious smelling shampoo and conditioner.

Soap maker notes:

Designed to be used in soaps, candles, tart wax melts, body care and hair care products.

Blends well with: This one is lovely and strong all on its own, but it does have a thick sweet to it so you could blend it with Lavandin Essential Oil to create a French Laundry smell; blend it with Cannon Beach to create a slightly salty, super green aroma; blend with Brazilian Mango to create a sweet, tropical rainforest aroma; blend with Blue Jeans to create Laundry Detergent (seriously, smells like every name brand laundry detergent); blend withhttps://shayandcompany.com/product/jasmine-ylang-fragrance-100-natural/ Jasmine Ylang to create a tropical flower smell; blend with Red Currant and Grapefruit to soften the red currant and give it a great base of richness.

Top: Aloe, galbanum, davana
Middle: Herbal, peppercorn, coriander
Bottom: Balsamic, woody, vanilla

California Proposition 65 for products falling below safe harbor levels.
This formula does contain 100% natural essential oils of which may contain furocoumarines, methyl eugenol, and safrole, all of which are on the Prop 65 list. We believe the volume in the end product falls below the safe harbor levels designated by Prop 65 and therefore this product does not have a Prop 65 warning. Please see our letter on Prop 65 warnings.

All Natural– this means that every ingredient used to create that specific aroma is natural. Does not mean they are all essential oils, just that every ingredient used is from a natural source. These fragrances will be more expensive, but true to everything else, you get what you pay for.

Fragrances are sold in 1-ounce amber glass bottles, 4-ounce amber glass bottles, 8-ounce amber glass bottles, 16-ounce amber glass bottles, 5-pound aluminum bottles, 10-pound HDPE BPA-free jugs, and 25-pound sizes. 25 pound sizes may have a later ship date depending on stock on hand. Do not apply directly to skin. Most fragrance oils are not designed to be applied directly, rather they are designed to be mixed with a carrier oil such as our organic sunflower or organic jojoba oils.  Always perform a small patch test when applying to skin.

Do not take internally unless you are licensed to apply them as such.
