Note on fragrance names- There is no regulation on fragrance names with the FDA, and fragrance names do not represent any specific ingredient like essential oils do. You can call any fragrance whatever name you want to call it, so get imaginative with your fragrance names!
Ube So Sweet naturally derived fragrance is just that- sweet! But not sticky sweet. Ube So Sweet is the color purple when you smell it. Bright popping top notes of coconut and orange, balanced with sweet honey, ube and croissant. Picture a perfectly flakey croissant with drizzles of honey blended with ube, all while sitting on a sunny sidewalk with a fabulous cup of coffee. That is Ube So Sweet.
I will say I was reluctant to join the sweeping Ube phase, but this one just smelled so good I couldn’t stop smelling it. Of course this will be fantastic in a candle or in a tart wax, but I really think the shine is in hair care. I can picture this in a shampoo and conditioner bar, especially one targeting bleached and damaged hair. The smell is just enticing and would make your bathroom smell great and would linger slightly in the hair throughout the day.
Is Ube So Sweet Fragrance overly sweet?
No, Ube So Sweet is a “sweet” fragrance, in that it really plays on the creamy vanilla notes, but the Ube at Shay has a deeper fragrance profile really making the orange and coconut pop, above the pure vanilla sweetness.
All our fragrances are designed to be used in soaps, candles, skincare and haircare.
Soap maker notes: tested at 6%; no acceleration; no ricing; light tan batter; light brown bar
Blends well with: I think this one would be really fun blended with some essential oils like Lavandin and Sweet Orange; you could blend with Fig to create a Purple People Eater scent; you could blend with Coco Cream to create Ube Cream; I would also try it with our Espresso Fragrance as the creamy sweetness would blend very well with a coffee base.

Naturally Derived– this means that more than 51% of the ingredients used to create this aroma are natural. The other 49% will be synthetic ingredients, but synthetic does not necessarily mean bad ingredients.
Please note this fragrance does have prop 65 ingredients. We do our best to source the cleanest versions of fragrances but know that not all scents can be re-recreated without some of these crazy chemicals. Fragrances are particular that way. Even essential oils have Prop 65 ingredients in them as many are naturally occurring ingredients. We do try to be as transparent as possible when it comes to what is in our fragrances.

This formula does contain 100% natural essential oils of which may contain beta-myrcene which is on the Prop 65 list. We believe the volume in the end product falls below the safe harbor levels designated by Prop 65 and therefore this product does not have a Prop 65 warning. Endocrine disrupting properties
Does not contain an endocrine disruptor (ED) in a concentration of ≥ 0.1%.
25-pound quantities are made to order with a 2-3 week lead-time.
Fragrances are sold in 1-ounce amber glass bottles, 4-ounce amber glass bottles, 8-ounce amber glass bottles, 16-ounce amber glass bottles, 5-pound aluminum bottles, 10-pound HDPE BPA-free jugs, and 25-pound sizes. 25 pound sizes may have a later ship date depending on stock on hand. Do not apply directly to skin. Most fragrance oils are not designed to be applied directly, rather they are designed to be mixed with a carrier oil such as our organic sunflower or organic jojoba oils. Always perform a small patch test when applying to skin.
Do not take internally unless you are licensed to apply them as such.
