Melissa essential oil is one of those oils that has so many uses it should be in everything. Melissa is also known as lemon balm or bee balm. This essential oil has a sweet, soothing scent and makes an excellent addition to hand creams, face cream, facial oil serums, lotions, bath treatments and soap bars.
Lemon balm essential has a well-known history of being a mood-boosting essential oil, lifting spirits, and reducing feelings of sadness. Lemon balm essential oil may help relieve feelings of vertigo and nervousness by helping to calm the nervous system.
Melissa essential oil is said to help reduce inflammation, so consider using this in your body lotions, creams, anti-acne creams, and post-sun treatments.
