Organic, Virgin, Cold Pressed Kalahari Melon Seed Oil is a light yellow oil with almost no aroma. Organic Kalahari Melon is a potent plant oil with strong capabilities in fighting aging skin, balancing sebum production, and skin cleansing capabilities. Kalahari Melon oil is naturally light, non-greasy, easily absorbs and is extremely high in linoleic acid.

The key component in Organic Kalahari Melon seed oil is the high amount of linoleic acid. This makes it an excellent choice to include in facial cleansers. You can add this to a foaming face wash base, to a facial cleansing bar, or to a pure oil based cleanser. Other oils to include in facial cleansers are Hazelnut Oil (an astringent oil), Organic Castor Seed Oil and Organic Coconut Oil.

Organic Kalahari Melon seed oil is naturally high in omega 6 and omega 9 fatty acids. Fatty acids help to reduce inflammation, and work to combat skin issues such as acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. They also help combat hyperpigmentation. Acneic skin also responds extremely well to products with high levels of fatty acids. Oils rich in naturally occurring fatty acids also help to stimulate cell growth.
