Welcome to the line-up! Ximenia Oil

welcome to the lineup ximenia oil - the warrior princess oil
Another crazy good oil you’re going to love

Cold Pressed Ximenia Oil, I love it almost as much as I love Cold Pressed Plum Oil. The only thing I love more about Plum Oil is the smell! Smells so incredibly delicious. But Ximenia Oil? Let me tell you, the feel of this oil on your skin and in your hair is pure luxury.
Ximenia Oil is different from other oils because of the Ximenynic acid. This is a long chain fatty acid that both extends the stability of this oil and makes it feel super thick and rich on the skin. When I say that this oil feels different, I mean it feels different. When we first got this oil in I put a little on the back of my hand. Initial impression was how incredibly thick the oil was; secondary impression was how quickly it absorbed. Within minutes my skin just felt soft and smooth- no residual greasy feel at all.
Ximenia oil can be used in hair care, skin care and lip care products.
You can combine Ximenia Oil with any of our other exotic oils, such as:
Bakuchi Oil– the cold pressed oil would pair beautifully and also has a fantastic skin feel. Use these as complimentary carrier oils.
Bakuchioil Co2– use this as the active ingredient at 1-2%
Retinaldehyde- this also would be used as an active ingredient at 1-5%
Organic Black Seed Oil– another powerful sun protection oil, this is an ingredient I believe should be in everything!
Organic Broccoli Seed Oil– excellent as a hydrator for both hair and skin, this is one you should include in your stock ingredients for formulating
Olive Oil Squalane– oh the hydration! This one paired with Ximenia would be oh so soothing to dry and tired hair and skin
Meadowfoam Seed Oil- if you have been sleeping on these oils, try them out today. We have both a wild refined expeller pressed (little aroma, yellow color) or the delicious cold pressed version (dark orange, rich earthy aroma). Both are prized for their supreme hydration and great skin feel.
Organic Rosehip Seed Oil– dark and rich, this is a fantastic oil for sun protection and environmental protection
Astaxanthin- a powerful antioxidant, excellent for protecting and repairing skin from sun damage. Use as an active level at about 0.5-1%

How should I store Ximenia Oil?
Ximenia oil is very shelf stable so it does not need any kind of refrigeration or special storage. We always recommend that you store all your ingredients in a fairly temperature stable environment, in a container with a tight lid, and away from direct sun light. If you do refrigerate Ximenia oil, know that it is an oil and it will turn cloudy and thick when refrigerated. You should allow it to come up to room temperature before using it in formulas.
Also, as with all natural oils, we do suggest opening them up and allowing them to air out when they first arrive to you. The transit from us to you can be traumatic on bottles. Between the temperature fluctuations and the pressure, it is just good to allow your products to breathe a little when you first get them. Then put the lid back on and store them safely.
