We try to offer a wide variety of products to help you limit where you have to purchase. We can’t offer everything, but we do listen to customer requests so here are some of your most requested wicks:

HTP Wicks are 100% natural fibers, lead-free, and veggie coated to help the rigidity when using in candles. These wicks are ideal for all paraffin, soy, and coconut-based candle waxes. HTP wicks are made using high performance natural fibers which helps increase rigidity and the benefits of a self-trimming wick.

Benefits of HTP wicks

The HTP series is very consistent; no matter which wick size you select they will perform the same batch after batch and are great for novice candle makers as it doesn’t take a lot of testing.

ECO Wicks constructed as a flat wick which is designed to help improve burn stability and keep the wick from curling. ECO wicks are made of cotton with specially treated paper filament interwoven to help increase the burn and reduce the afterglow commonly seen with standard paper wicks. ECO wicks are self-trimming and demonstrate minimal mushrooming and soot production.

Eco wicks are an extremely popular wick brand with a loyal fan base. They can take some more testing and work to get just the right one, but once a maker figures out their candles with ECO wicks they stick with them.

ECO wicks are designed with natural and cotton fibers woven into the wick, allowing a very consistent controlled burn. This allows your candle to always burn evenly and smoothly.

Stabilio Wicks are made of cotton with paper fibers throughout the wick. Stabilio wicks are ideal for tealights, votives, pillars and container candles because of the increased rigidity and excellent burning capabilities for vegetable-based waxes. Stabilio wicks are a flat braid with easy trimming capabilities.

Benefits of Stabilio CD wicks

CD wicks are excellent with fragrance and hot throw. CD wicks flat braided cotton wicks, woven with paper filaments. These filaments help stabilize the flame and help boost the hot throw. CD wicks are extremely popular among professional candle makes for their fragrance boost.

StabilioKST Wicks are ideal for all you coconut wax lovers! The KST wick series (also known as the CDN series) are specifically constructed to excel in wax blends that tend to burn easier and hotter. StabilioKST wicks are ideal for tealights, votives, pillars and container waxes. This wick series is made of all-natural fibers, with a flat braided wick and a special all-natural paper filament to provide maximum heat stability and wick trimming. StabilioKST wicks are designed to have minimal curl.

Benefits of StabilioKST CDN wicks

CDN wicks are an adapted version of CD wicks, designed to be used in wax blends that tend to burn hotter and faster. These are often wax blends with coconut waxes in them, as coconut does respond faster to heat than other harder waxes (such as palm or beeswax).

CDN wicks are constructed the same as the CD wicks, same braid and same filaments, but they are treated with a salt-based solution to make the wick burn slower. This does not affect the aroma of your product, as the treatment does not have a smell, and it is not a chemical.

LX Wicks are the ideal for paraffin and veggie waxes because they burn with a tighter and more controlled flame. This wick is coreless and braided, with stabilizing fibers throughout, making less likely to have carbon built up, reducing afterglow and soot, and maintaining structure while burning. These are great for votives, pillars and containers as they have a rigid structure and veggie coating.

Benefits of LX wicks

LX Wicks are a high performing wick with stabilizing fibers that work well in both container candles and in pillar candles. Not all wicks will work in pillar candles so be sure to watch for ones listed as such. Pillars need controlled burn pools and need to be correct for the dimension of your candle, or it can tunnel or just make a giant mess.

LX wicks have an easy, controlled burn creating less soot and jar darkening.

LX wicks also work great in wider candle containers with full melt pools.

Premier 700™-Series wicks are versatile wicks suitable for paraffin, veggie, and blended waxes. They are made using a flat braided cotton design with integrated paper filaments. This design allows for a clean burn and minimal carbon buildup.

Premier wicks have two benefits:

First they have many sizes so you are really able to pinpoint which size works best in each candle

Second, their paper filaments are really designed to help keep a steady flame and balanced heat output, making your candle burn smooth and long

Aroma-Lite® Wick series wicks are specifically engineered for tough-to-burn candle systems with high fragrance loads. This self-trimming wick is great for container systems and is designed to reduce and/or inhibit carbon build-up. Aroma-Lite® Wicks are made of 100% natural fibers.

Aroma-Lite® wicks are one of the better ones to use in paraffin waxes and in pillar candles.

Benefits of Aroma-Lite® wicks

Ironic that these wicks are called “aroma-lite” as they are really designed to work best with aroma-heavy candles. If love high fragrance loads and really want a wick that performs with little soot and mushrooming, Aroma-Lite wicks are your choice.

Aroma-Lite® wicks also work really well with blended waxes. Their 100% natural cotton fibers burn hot and even, creating even burn pools with blended waxes.

Also, Aroma-Lite® wicks can work in pillars!

Here is the selection of Aroma-Lite® wicks that we carry:

Aroma-Lite® 60-6” pre-cut, pre-tabbed wick. 0.87” flame height; 1.78” burn pool. These are ideal for small containers.

Aroma-Lite® 100-6” pre-cut, pre-tabbed wick. 1.02” flame height; 1.84” burn pool. These are ideal for small containers.

Helix Wicks- This is such a cool wick! With a boosted amount of wick power and the cool twisted appearance, this is your wick solution for those larger candles that need a bigger burn pool and boosted fragrance throw. Engineered by braiding two Aroma-lite® wicks around a stronger paper core, it was developed to burn in sometimes difficult candle systems with high levels of fragrance. Helix wicks are made of 100% natural fibers.

Benefits of Helix wicks

Helix wicks have all the incredible heat throw and controlled burn of Aroma-Lite’s, along with a distinct look and large burn pool.

It can be difficult as a one wick system to achieve large wax pools, however this problem is overcome with the braiding of two wicks together. Reinforced with a paper core the product has a style and performance different than any other wick on the market.

Helix wicks also work really well with blended waxes, all vegetable waxes, and paraffin waxes. Their 100% natural cotton fibers burn hot and even, creating even burn pools with blended waxes. The braided style does create more heat, which is great for paraffin candles.

Helix wicks do burn hotter so be sure to test them in all containers. If you have a container that narrows towards the bottom, be sure to use a smaller size wick.

Helix 50 6” pre-cut, pre-tabbed wick– 2.39” flame height; 2.77” burn pool.

Bleached, square wicks (BLSQ)– BLSQ wicks are the traditional wick for beeswax candles, but they also work well in waxes that are harder and more viscous when melted. Square braided wicks are made using a very tight braid, enabling a hotter flame then finished in a salt treatment to increase heat output. BLSQ wicks are self-curling, minimizing carbon buildup.

We do offer BLSQ wicks in both bulk and pre-cut options. If you are making taller pillars or dipped candles, please select the bulk option so you can cut to size. The pre-cut options are great for pillar and container beeswax candles, and blends that have high levels of beeswax in them.

Benefits of BLSQ wicks

There’s no better wick for beeswax candles that square braided wicks. The strong structure and tight braid allow for a nice hot flame with consistent melt pool.

BLSQ work in containers, votives, tapers, dipped candles and pillars, as long as they all have some amount of beeswax in them. If your wax blend is only a small amount of beeswax, you’ll definitely have to test the wick. I would probably suggest trying an LX or HTP wick first.
