Cetyl Esters Wax from RSPO Palm!

Cetyl Esters are naturally derived ester made of fatty acids and saturated fatty alcohols. They work as a thickener that is hard when cool and soften when applied to skin. This helps to create a softening, soothing lotion/cream with excellent skin-feel and a creamy texture.
Cetyl Esters can be used in skincare and hair care applications, both to increase viscosity and as an emollient. The fatty acids help to enhance moisture retention on the skin, and work to sooth and hydrate dry skin and hair.

Organic Carnauba Wax is an easy-to-use natural plant wax designed to help maintain stable viscosity while also increasing shine and hydration in finished products. Organic Carnauba Wax is yellow waxy flakes with mild to no aroma. This is called the “Queen of Waxes” as it is supremely easy to use.
Lauryl Laurate-Lauryl Laurate is a fast-melting ester wax that incorporates easily into your formulas and leaves a soft, silky feeling on the skin. Lauryl Laurate helps to decrease the greasy feel of products with high levels of oils and butters. Lauryl Laurate and Stearyl Palmitate have similar functions, but Lauryl Laurate has a much lower melt point giving a softer skin-feel to your formulations.
Lauryl Laurate is an all-natural alternative to silicones in your haircare and skincare products. The end feel on the skin and hair is very silky, making this ideal for shampoos and conditioners, hair masks, facial masks, eye creams, lip sticks and balms, facial scrubs, and color cosmetics.

Stearyl Palmitate-Stearyl Palmitate is an excellent ingredient to manage final formula viscosity, skin-feel and stability in various temperatures. Stearyl Palmitate is derived from RSPO palm oil and stearyl alcohol. Stearyl Palmitate and Lauryl Laurate function similarly, but Lauryl Laurate has a much lower melting point, making a softer finished product.
Stearyl Palmitate is made with RSPO palm.
Other Functional Ingredients:
Polyquartanum 37– Polyquaternium 37 is a liquid cationic acrylic homopolymer dispersed in a blend of vegetable based propylene glycol and caprylic and capric alcohols (coconut based). Polyquat 37 is an easy-to-use thickener/emulsifier to help stabilize liquid formulas, decrease frizz and enhance conditioning in hair, leaving non-greasy/non-static skin-feel.
This is an oil-phase thickener, increasing spreadability of thicker formulas, increasing hydration on the skin, and leaving a non-sticky, non-greasy feel.
Polyquaternium 37 is beneficial in hair care products because it increases combability and allows hair to go longer between washes. This is an excellent ingredient to add if you’re creating products designed to smooth frizzy or damaged hair.
