Happy Fall! It is that busy time for all our makers so just wanted to touch base with some quick info:
Holiday Hours- We will be closed all day both Thursday the 28th and Friday the 29th of November. If you need your items to ship or be available for pickup next week, be sure to get your orders in by Tuesday so we can have them ready by Wednesday.
UPS SurePost- It is the time of year when makers are busy, and the post office is busy. We offer UPS SurePost on our website for orders under $100. It usually saves you a few dollars on your shipping. HOWEVER I do not suggest using this for the rest of this year if you are in a hurry for your product! UPS SurePost is a combination of both UPS and the post office. UPS ships it to your local post office, then the post office has to sort and deliver it to you. We have already been seeing delays of up to 10 days longer with SurePost over UPS ground. If you need your product on time, pay the extra few dollars and go with UPS Ground.
A few things about SurePost- because this shipping method encompasses two shipping companies our hands are tied once the package has left our facility. Here are things we cannot do once it has left:
- We cannot change the address once it has shipped
- We cannot change the speed at which it is shipping. Example, if you select UPS ground and you decide you need it 3 day instead, we can intercept with UPS and sometimes change the delivery speed. With SurePost, we can’t do anything
- We cannot recall the box. If you change your mind or want us to re-ship a 2nd order faster, you will get both orders. We cannot stop or recall the box once it has left.
