Not all personal care ingredients are designed to be used internally. It is the buyer’s obligation to determine internal safety of each ingredient. All ingredients supplied by Shay & Company LLC are of food quality and we hereby certify that to the best of our knowledge the product above is produced under food safe conditions and handled in an FDA registered facility. We are not a food or supplement certified facility so ingredients will not come with nutritional, supplemental or food testing or certifications.
Every product page has a tab called “C of A/SDS/IFRA” where you can locate all our documents for that product. The newest documents on the bottom of the list, so go to the bottom to look for the most current.
Your lot numbers are on the containers once you receive them. The format on the label is LOT: (this is the lot number)-FIVE DIGIT CODE-INITIALS. The five digit code and the initials are not part of the lot number so those will not be on the C of A. Just the first code preceding the five-digit code and initials. Those are internal codes for our reference.
If you do not see the specific lot number in the list, please email us and we will ensure it gets uploaded.
We provide the standard documents necessary for all skincare ingredients. If you are looking for additional product statements, please check out the tab called “PRODUCT STATEMENTS”. You may find many answers there.
Any additional testing not found on the C of A’s will need to be conducted by you. All tests done are listed on each C of A.
All orders are processed in the order they are received. Normal turn-around is within 24 hours, sometimes the same day. Once shipped, the time it takes to arrive to you depends on which shipping method you selected. At checkout, you will be shown a list of options for shipping and each one will have anestimated arrival date. These are estimates, not guarantees, but they will be close.
Due to the nature of selling raw materials meant to be used in skincare products, we are not able to accept returns or exchanges on any opened items. If we shipped you the incorrect item, we will gladly replace it or refund your account. If you accidentally order the incorrect item and you have not opened the container, you can return it to us within 15 days at your cost plus a 10% re-stocking fee, and we will refund or exchange it.
