Organic Blue Poppy Seeds are such a fun exfoliant to add to soap bars, lotion bars, body scrubs, face scrubs, and more! These tiny spherical beads are ideal as an exfoliant as they will not scratch the skin, rather just remove the top layer of dead skin and leave skin feeling smooth.

Exfoliants are added to soap bars after trace has started. You can also place organic poppy seeds on the top of the bars after they are in the molds. You can use as little as 1 Tablespoon of organic blue poppy seeds to 16 ounce of soap base.

When creating facial scrubs you can be as aggressive or as gentle as you’d like when it comes to volume of scrubbing particles.  Generally daily use facial scrubs use lesser amounts of exfoliants, but if you’re like me and really love to get a good daily scrub, organic poppy seeds are an excellent choice. These poppy seeds are nice and round, create excellent exfoliation without scratching.

Short Term Storage: Airtight container. Dark location. Cool room temperature.

Long Term Storage: Removing air from storage container will delay oxidation and rancidity (may need to place in a smaller container). Refrigeration can extend shelf life.
