Suggest levels of usage:

0.1-1% depending on desired level of hydration

0.1-0.5% for lightweight serums, lotions and toners with quick absorption properties

1.0-2% for deep penetration formulas, including occlusive creams and lotions

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polysaccharide found in joints, skin and connective tissue. It is a powerful emollient, creating intense hydration and lubrication. Hyaluronic Acid can be used in topical skincare and hair care applications.

Hyaluronic Acid is one of the most beneficial skincare ingredients for all skin types. We offer three versions here at Shay:

Sodium Hyaluronate 7 Solution– Sodium Hyaluronate 7 Solution is a blend of 7 molecular weights, ranging from 3000-2,300,000 Daltons. This creates a ready-to-use hyaluronic acid solution with excellent skin hydration properties. The range of Daltons also allows the skin to produce more hyaluronic acid naturally, allowing for deeper hydration and more youthful looking skin.

Sodium Hyaluronate 120K Powder-Sodium Hyaluronate 120W Powder is a low-molecular hyaluronic acid powder designed for deep penetration with enhanced bioavailability. Sodium Hyaluronate 120W Powder is made through the fermentation process of sodium salts. The powder is 95% or more sodium hyaluronate.

Sodium Hyaluronate 3000 Daltons Powder- The primary benefit of 3000 Daltons versus 120W is the increased depth at which 3000 Daltons can penetrate. This increases the moisture retention inside the cells, and the ability to pull more hydration from the atmosphere. HA 3000 Daltons is excellent for this, but you do ideally want to pair it with another higher molecular weight so you have some on the surface pulling in moisture, and some penetrating in delivering hydration.
