Susan has been taking astaxanthin as a skincare supplement and using it in her skincare routine for over a decade. Astaxanthin is a very powerful antioxidant that helps do everything from protect the skin from environmental pollutants and blocking UV damage, to creating more radiant, smooth skin.
Astaxanthin is created from a microalgae; it is bright red to orange in color; has a mild algae-oil aroma. Nothing too powerful as you use it in a small percentage in your formulas.
This anti-aging ingredient is so powerful you only have to use 1% to have a very effective product!

Ready to use as it, or you can dilute it down with something like our Organic Rosemary Hydrosol, or use deionized/distilled water and add in other hair actives like Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Olive Oil Eco Silicone, or Organic Argan Oil.
