Organic Borage Seed Oil is a very popular oil in the skincare and hair care industries. Organic Borage Seed Oil is said to be hydrating, an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, improves skin barrier, helps heal wounds and reduces redness.
Our Organic Borage Seed Oil is 20% GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid), which makes it ideal for scavenging free radicals and a great option for dry, irritated, inflamed skin. GLA is an essential fatty acid and this level is only found in a few plant oils.
The strong anti-oxidant properties of Organic Borage Seed oil is an excellent oil to use in acne skincare products. This specific oil helps fight inflammation and can help to decrease the effects of acne spots on the skin. This one is hard to find! But Shay had it, and it’s wonderful to work with in CP soap. Mild odor that doesn’t carry through in finished bars. Very happy with the price including shipping. Poured beautifully from the bottle, arrived in good condition and I’ll get more. I love the few recipes I have that use it, now I’ll make them staples in my line up.
