Just the sound of bergamot essential oil brings about thoughts of the Italian coastline, clothes hanging out to dry, and wine and fruits spritzing the air. Bergamot essential oil is full of beautiful, light citrus notes. It is very complementary to orange or lemon oils and works great in face creams and serums, body washes, scrubs, and natural cleaning solutions. When bergamot is added to black tea, that tea becomes Earl Gray tea!

Bergamot essential oil is composed of alpha-pinene, alpha bergapten, alpha-terpineol, limonene, linalool, linalyl acetate, nerol, neryl acetate, beta bisabolene, geraniol, geraniol acetate and myrcene.

Our wholesale bergamot essential oil can be used in products to help:

  • Increase circulation (think anti-aging with increased blood flow and collagen stimulation)
  • Anti-fungal and healing salves, balms, or sprays
  • Deodorants- try blending with some organic shea butter, organic coconut oil, white beeswax beads, and organic argan oil to make a refreshing deodorant alternative
  • Perfumes- blend with clary sage, frankincense, sandalwood, orange, or rosemary and create either a solid perfume or a spray-on. Add this blend to any body lotion, soap bar, or body wash, and leave your skin and your bathroom smelling fresh.

Some bergamot varieties do contain bergapten, which means it can trigger skincare sensitives when exposed to sunlight. Our version is bergaptene-free, so there are no contraindications with sun exposure. Always store pure bergamot essential oil in dark containers and away from direct sunlight.

25-pound quantities are made to order with a 2 week lead-time.

Our wholesale bergamot essential oil is sold in bulk 1-ounce amber glass bottles, 4-ounce amber glass bottles, 8-ounce amber glass bottles, 16-ounce amber glass bottles, 5-pound, 11-pound, and 22.2-pound sizes. 25-pound sizes may have a later ship date depending on stock on hand. For 100-pound sizes or larger, please email us at [email protected].

Do not apply directly to the skin. Most essential oils are not designed to be applied directly, rather they are designed to be mixed with a carrier oil such as our organic sunflower or organic jojoba oils. Always perform a small patch test when applying to the skin.

Do not take them internally unless you are licensed to apply them as such.
