Camphor can be used to do everything from disinfect water to repelling bugs and boosting circulation in wounds. Try adding camphor to your natural bug spray and to your bug bite salve. Other essential oils that are great for bug repelling are litsea, citronella, cajeput, tea tree, peppermint, and cedarwood. You can also use our Organic Peppermint Hydrosol and Organic Witch Hazel as a base, and you can use Polysorbate 80 to blend the EO’s so they don’t separate in the water based spray.
Camphor’s antibacterial properties also make it an excellent addition to your skin salves. Try blending Organic Tamanu Oil (Polynesian wound healing oil), Organic Castor Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Beeswax and a blend of camphor, copaiba and organic buena vista lavender essential oil.
Camphor and menthol, both, have an excellent cooling effect when used in skincare products. Camphor can be added to foot soaks, foot scrubs, muscle rubs/creams, to help increase circulation and creating a cooling effect. Menthol helps to create a warming effect, hence the hot/cold creams!
Looking to increase your line of diffuser blends or solid perfumes? Camphor oil smells so good, and has such a high level of relaxing properties, that it is said people can become addicted to smelling camphor. What a great way to keep your sales up…get em addicted to it! Camphor can be used as a roll-on to relieve stress, calm muscle spasms, reduce nausea, and help with congestion.
Camphor blends well with menthol, peppermint essential oil, wintergreen essential oil, cajeput essential oil, organic sweet basil essential oil, lavender essential oil, and roman chamomile essential oil.
Essential oils are sold in 0.5-ounce amber glass, 1-ounce amber glass with dropper, 4-ounce amber glass, 8-ounce amber glass, 16-ounce amber glass, 5-pound and 10-pound sizes. For 25-pounds or larger, please email us at orders@shayandcompany.com.

Do not take internally unless you are licensed to apply them as such.
