August 2022- Our Foaming Shower Gel base is back and it is thicker than ever! Holy cow, is this shower gel amazing. Thick, big bubbles, soft and customizable. Everything you want in a foaming shower gel base.

This shower gel base is made especially so you can customize it by adding up to 8% additional ingredients (this includes fragrances, essential oils, or other natural oils). We worked diligently with our chemist to make the cleanest possible shower gel base, that also allows you to customize it and have a strong enough preservative system to last for two years in your customer’s showers.

This foaming shower gel base can be more than just a body wash. Use this base to create foaming bubble baths (or buy our bubble bath base for even bigger bubbles)! You can use this as a gentle facial cleansing wash, baby wash, dog wash, household cleanser base, and more. Anything that you need a foaming liquid soap base, this can be it.

This base is also excellent for foamer bottles and foaming base. You would simply dilute this base up to 90% with water. So, if you want a super thin base that just gives off foam in your specific foamer bottle, you can do as little as 10% of our foaming shower gel base and 90% water. The more shower gel and the less water, the thicker the base will be. You will need to test it in your bottles to ensure you get the results you are looking for.

Looking to add a facial cleanser to your line? Try blending our Foaming Shower Gel base, Organic Rose or Orange Hydrosols, then a little of our Glycerin and Organic Argan Oil. The glycerin helps create that thick, rich feeling, while the organic argan oil helps to moisturize and repel dirt and grease. You can add as much of the organic hydrosols as you would like in order to reach the viscosity you desire. No additional preservative will be needed. Excellent essential oils to consider for your facial cleansing wash are Blue Tansy, Helichrysum, Clary Sage, and Frankincense!

Are you working on creating a household cleanser and looking to stay as natural as possible? Well, look no further! Our Foaming Shower Gel base is an excellent base for household cleansers. You can dilute this base down with water, isopropyl alcohol, or organic witch hazel to create a sprayable foaming wash that also works to sanitize the surfaces. Add in essential oils like blood orange, juniper, rosemary, dalmatian sage and peppermint to boost the cleansing effect and make your surfaces smell great.

Ways to customize:
Add in deionized water to thin out; you can use this as a pourable shower gel or even thin out enough to put into a foamer bottle for a foaming hand wash

Add in essential oils or fragrances; recommended level for any skincare product is 1-2% scent load

Add in moisturizing oils such as Grape Seed Oil, Hazelnut Oil, Organic Argan Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil…basically any oil we sell. You can go as little as 1% or all the way up to 8%.

Add in some melted butters like Shea Butter or Cocoa Butter to create a super rich Foaming Body Wash. You will want to start small with your additions and test to make sure they blend correctly and they meet your expectations.

You can use Foaming Shower Gel Base in your whipped foaming butters, foaming bath soaks or foaming body scrubs.

When you start customizing, always always always start with a small batch, take very good notes, and test your formulas. Each ingredient will change viscosity and color in their own way. For example, Vanilla Essential Oil will make the Foaming Shower Gel a lovely tan color and won’t affect the viscosity, but Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil can turn it slightly yellow and thin it out! Always test to make sure the end product meets your expectations.
