Organic Neem oil is an excellent all-natural preservative and skin care additive. Our organic neem oil can range in color from golden-yellow to dark brown, almost black. Neem oil can also get thicker when colder, so if this occurs just warm slightly and it will be right back to a pourable texture.
Organic Neem oil is smelly, so yes, this neem stinks good! Small amounts of neem in your skincare products, though, can lend excellent healing benefits. Organic Neem is often used in soap bars to help in reducing redness and itching. Think gardeners, hunters, hikers…anyone who can be outside and in the elements, coming into contact with things like poison oak/ivy, nettle, or just sensitive skin allergens. Organic Neem oil bars are great to help clean and sooth inflamed, red, itchy skin.
Organic Neem oil is also an excellent ingredient to use in anti-acne formulations. If you’re creating an acne face bar, try adding neem, clary sage, hazelnut oil, blood orange and a small amount of tea tree. This bar will help minimize sebum production, while also soothing the skin.
If you’re making a shampoo bar and looking for a formula for scalp dermatitis, dandruff, or to help stimulate hair growth, try a blend of organic neem, Oregon peppermint, turmeric essential oil, and organic castor oil. Organic Neem is not only an excellent anti-bacterial agent, but it also has a high quantity of natural vitamin e.
Neem oil is also widely used in plants. If you have gnats, mealies, flies, or a fungal infection in your precious plant, you can use organic neem oil directly on the leaves and in the water to help nourish your plant back to health.
Neem Oil is sold in 4-ounce, 8-ounce, 16-ounce, half-gallon, 1- gallon, and 5-gallon sizes. Please email us directly for 5-gallon+ orders.
