Macadamia ternifolia seed oil is a clear, semi-thick oil with a high level of monounsaturated fats, which means it can withstand higher heats better than most oils. Macadamia oil is an excellent oil for use in anything from cooking to cosmetics. Mac nut oil will also not stain clothing, so this is a great oil to consider adding to your massage oils and lotions.

Mac nut oil is naturally high in selenium, zinc, and fatty acids. It is a heavier oil but is readily absorbed into the skin so it will not leave you feeling heavy or greasy. In addition, macadamia is rich in palmitoleic acid and our skin loses palmitoleic acid as we age, so using products that contain mac nut oil helps to replenish that and helps to slow the aging process in the skin.

Use macadamia nut oil in your scar treatments, sunburn products, dry skin products, face lotions and serums and masks.
