Cypress essential oil is a clear, balanced, bright outdoor smell. Cypress is distilled from fresh twigs and needles off the cypress tree.

Cypress essential oil has excellent astringent properties, making this a great oil to use in facial care and acne care bars, serums, lotions and scrubs. The addition of cypress essential oil in your skincare products can help to control excess sebum production and help to tighten pores. A great facial spray would be a base of organic witch hazel mixed with organic rose hydrosol, with a little cypress, roman chamomile and clary sage essential oils. Clean and bright smelling, and great for balance and tightening the skin.

Cypress essential oil has a high level of camphene, which makes it a great addition to your salves and healing creams. Cypress essential oil has also been said to help relieve muscle cramps/spasms so adding this to your body balm would be great for help with leg cramps, varicose vein pain, swelling, etc. Make your salve using our organic babassu oil, organic castor oil and organic beeswax. Then add in a blend of menthol, white camphor, cypress, wintergreen, and lavender essential oils to create a soothing treatment. Add in our organic tamanu oil to incorporate the healing benefits of this great Polynesian oil!

Are you launching a natural deodorant this year? Cypress is an excellent odor eliminator and blends well with cedarwood, sandalwood, lavender, juniper, rosemary, yuzu, copaiba, Ravensara, and rhododendron.
