Cold Pressed Cucumber Seed Oil is a lovely, light weight, non-comedogenic oil with high levels of antioxidants helping to create healthier skin over the long-run. Cucumber Seed Oil is gentle enough to be used directly on the skin, but it makes an excellent contribution to anti-aging skincare formulas.

Cold Pressed Cucumber Seed Oil is made by cold pressing freshly dried cucumber seeds, then filtering it using physical components only (no chemicals used). The smell of cucumber is there but it is not so overpowering that it will affect your added essential oils and fragrances. Cucumber Oil is actually known to help enhance the scent profiles.

Cucumber Seed Oil is considered a “dry” oil, which means that it absorbs quickly without leaving a heavy, oily residue. It will not clog pores and therefore makes it an excellent oil for acneic and oily skin types. It is highly moisturizing and helps to promote cell regeneration.

We traditionally think of using cucumber on the eyes to help cool and soothe the skin. It is also very commonly incorporated into after sun products to help pull out the heat. These same benefits make it an excellent addition to products targeting dry skin, rosacea, eczema and highly damaged skin.

Daily exposure to sun and environmental pollutants creates skin that is tired, aging and clogged. Using a daily exfoliant, both physical and chemical, followed by a highly hydrating, cooling formula filled with antioxidants like in Cucumber Oil to help fight free radicals and combat perpetual damage.
