Coriander Essential Oil is a lovely, herbal, slightly spicy essential oil with many hair and skincare benefits. You can use Coriander in soaps, skincare, hair care and aromatherapy applications.
Skin care benefits include applications for both facial care and body care. Coriander is known as an analgesic, which means this is an excellent option to include in anything designed to help soothe aching joints and muscles. Include coriander in your foot soaks, foot scrubs and foot creams (for those of us with sore feet!). The aromatherapy benefits are super calming, plus it helps to reduce swelling in joints and muscles.
When used in facial care products, Coriander Essential oil helps combat sebum production, helps to fight free radicals and helps to reduce effects from environmental damage. This makes Coriander an excellent addition to acne skincare products. Try blending this with some Clary Sage and Juniper to create a fantastic facial serum! All three of these have an herbal aroma so they blend well together, and they all three help combat acneic skin.
Coriander use has also been shown to help fight the effects of sun damage and free radicals on the skin. Incorporate Coriander into your after-sun exposure body lotions, or into a face cream or serum designed to help reduce hyperpigmentation and sun damage. This would blend well into a facial oil serum of Hazelnut Oil, Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil, Bakuchi Oil, Buriti Oil and an essential oil blend of Coriander, Neroli, and Egyptian Geranium. So lovely with so many benefits!
Coriander is also a great addition to hair care products. In Ayurvedic practice, coriander is included to help promote hair growth, strengthen hair roots, and prevent hair loss. Coriander can be included in your shampoo and conditioner bars (I personally would love a Coriander and Cypress shampoo bar…..oh so good), and in scalp scrubs or serums. An easy scalp serum would be Aloe Gel Base, Organic Black Seed Oil, Broccoli Seed Oil, Daikin Seed Oil, Meadowfoam Oil, Mustard Seed Oil, and a blend of Coriander and Rosemary essential oils.
Blends well with: lemon, bergamot, lavender, lemongrass, litsea, sweet orange, pink grapefruit, ginger, neroli, cypress, sandalwood, peppermint, black pepper, Egyptian geranium
Essential oils are sold in 0.5-ounce amber glass, 1-ounce amber glass with dropper, 4-ounce amber glass, 8-ounce amber glass, 16-ounce amber glass, 5-pound and 10-pound sizes. For 25-pounds or larger, please email us at orders@shayandcompany.com.

Do not take internally unless you are licensed to apply them as such.
