Coconut 2 Coconut and Soy Candle Wax

Coconut 2: This is a blend of hydrogenated coconut glycerides and soy wax. This is not 100% Coconut Wax. If you are looking for pure coconut wax, please see our Coconut 1 listing.

We do have three types of coconut soy candle waxes:
Coconut 2 Wax- This one is more coconut and less soy; this comes in an almost solid shortening type texture
C6– this one is more soy and less coconut; this one comes in 12 pound slabs or 48-pound boxes
Golden Wax 454– this one is more soy and less coconut; this comes in flake form

Coconut 2 wax can be used without blending other ingredients into it. This wax is designed for container candles and a softener for pillar candles (ones without a container).

If you’re looking to create Pillar Candles, we do carry Elite 300, which is an excellent pillar wax. If you find that wax just a bit too hard when you’re trying to remove your candles from their molds, try adding in a small amount of Coconut 2 to soften it up. Don’t go too far and always test first, or you might just end up with a puddle when you burn it!

Looking to add massage candles to your line? Try blending Coconut 2 Wax  with something like shea butter/palm kernel flakes/soy wax or butter/massage oils and a little beeswax or soy candle wax to make it hard enough for your containers.

This coconut soy candle wax is white in color, works with any of the wicks we carry and works well with just about any fragrance and all essential oils that are applicable for candles (not all essential oils burn for candles so always make sure to do a test burn first).

Wholesale Coconut 2 coconut soy wax is sold in 1-pound, 5-pound, 25-pound and 50-pound sizes. Pallet sizes are 36 boxes per pallet.

Coconut 2 Guidelines: 

• Soy wax’s melting point is 200°. If you keep at 200° or higher for any extended amount of time you can scorch the wax and it will start turning cream/brown in color
• Stir melting wax frequently to evenly distribute heat
• Cool the melted wax down to 185° or below to add fragrance/essential oil/dyes. If you add the fragrance/essential oil when the wax is too hot you will just start burning off your scent. The more you can allow it to cool before adding the scent/essential oil, the better your finished candle will smell. Stir well to allow the scent/essential oil/dye to completely blend in. I suggest a couple of minutes to ensure good dispersion. You can add 6-10% scent/essential oil. You will have to determine the desired amount based upon your scent/essential oil and how strong you want your candle to smell.
• Make sure your containers are at room temperature or even slightly warmer. Soy waxes can pull away from glass containers and cold containers can cause this. Allow the melted wax to cool to between 120° to 165° before pouring.
• Allow the finished candle to stand for 24 hours before burning.
