Bentonite clay is a natural detoxifier. You can add bentonite to any face mask, body wrap, foot treatment, soap bar, hair mask, acne spot treatment, or body scrub. Bentonite clay is a dark tan color and will darken slightly when added to your products.
Bentonite clay is a very fine and soft natural clay. It has a high level of natural minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and iron. Bentonite clay can be used on topical skincare products, tooth powders, acne treatments, and can be taken internally.
Bentonite naturally pulls impurities out of the skin and helps to absorb excess oil, which is why it works so great in acne treatments and facial mask. Try blending bentonite with some of our aloe gel base, olive oil squalene, hazelnut oil, tamanu oil and sea buckthorn oil and apply ask a purifying facial mask.
For an acne treatment, try blending bentonite, titanium dioxide, hazelnut oil, lavender essential oil and a small amount of tea tree essential oil. Apply to infected areas and allow to sit for 30 minutes or longer to help pull spots to the surface.
Bentonite is also excellent in a hair mask. You can try blending our shea butter cream base with bentonite, hazelnut oil, organic argan oil, sweet almond oil, and a blend of rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus essential oils to help create a stimulating scalp treatment.
For an amazing foot mask blend bentonite with water, then add in an essential oil blend of menthol, peppermint, wintergreen, eucalyptus, tea tree and rosemary. Follow with a foot scrub made with our shea butter cream base, pumice and the same essential oil blend to create a soothing, softening foot treatment.
Bentonite clay is sold in 1-pound biodegradable bags, 5-pound bags, 25-pound bags and 50-pound sizes. Any orders larger than 750-pounds please email us for pricing.
